Real estate is often about transitions; leaving a home one has settled into to downsize, upsize or move to a new area.
When selling, one is concerned with what to keep, what to let go of, and transferring belongings. Preparing the home can take weeks; does it need fresh paint? Are the systems updated; has the furnace been serviced, is the roof in good order, is the electrical safe? It is often hard to let go of a home as one has seen it, and prepare it for all of the different kinds of people that might be interested. That said, the more people a home appeals to, the better chance of getting a great price.
This is where I come in; I can help you prepare your house for sale, and do the best print and online marketing to attract the greatest number of people.
Finding a home is also a challenge; empty nesters may have a lot of options, while those starting the journey with children are interested in schools, commuting to work and an appealing neighborhood.
That said, if you are a first time homebuyer, there might be many issues to navigate that you haven’t been exposed to, and I can help steer the course.
You may be looking for vacation or investment properties (with or without views). Some may want to have a vacation rental or AirBnB and be able to use the property once in awhile, or it might be strictly an investment property with a good return on investment.
Whether you are a seasoned or first-time homebuyer, I can help you look for the right home, submit the offer, get the inspection and work through lending, title and escrow.
When I am not working I spend my leisure time in many outdoor hobbies such as gardening, walking my dog, skiing or kayaking.
